Do I need lubricant to use my love doll?

Yes, for sexual use with your erotic doll in real conditions, you will definitely need to use lubricant. Without the use of lubricant, you will have difficulties to sexually penetrate your love doll. Irritation and pain could then occur. The skin of your love doll and its vaginal lips would also risk damage, friction or even tears. For a healthy and safe use, lubricant is a must.

If you wish to lubricate your sex doll thoroughly, you can use a Lube Launcher type applicator that will inject the liquid deep into the orifice.

Can I use my saliva or water as a lubricant?

Sex dolls cannot self-lubricate. However, some brands offer a vagina capable of accommodating water as a lubricant for equivalent sliding sensations.

Here is the demonstration video of the WMDolls Insert vagina "without lubricant":

With this type of vagina, water will be sufficient to lubricate the intimate parts of your sex doll. You can also use your saliva to facilitate penetration.

Which type of lubricant to use in all other cases?

Good question! While most lubricants are safe to use with a human partner, you should only use a water-based lubricant with a TPE or silicone sex doll. You should never use lubricants containing oil, petroleum, or silicone. This type of lubricant will irreversibly damage your doll's skin.

Why a water-based lubricant?

Water-based lubricants are extremely easy to clean and will not cause any damage to your doll. Hygienic and hypoallergenic, water-based lubricants are non-sticky and have a non-greasy texture making them perfect for sexual use with a life-size doll. Water-based lubricants will also protect you from stains. It will however be ineffective if you are tempted to make love to your love doll in the shower.

Oil-based lubricants are to be avoided because they are very difficult to clean and would deteriorate the silicone or the TPE of your doll. The sex doll's TPE already naturally releases oil to keep the skin fresh, to keep it moisturized and to avoid tears. By using this type of lubricant, you would be saturating your sex doll's skin with oil.

Excess oil on the TPE could cause:

  • - A softened skin
  • - A withered appearance of the epidermis
  • - A liquefaction of the TPE

So to protect your doll from these mishaps, only water-based lubricants should be used.

Where to buy the right lubricant for my sexdoll?

To find the ideal lubricant, we recommend that you purchase a small tube/bottle of a water-based lubricant brand and try it out. Test them until you find the right brand. On our website, in the accessories category, you can find some tubes, but you don't have to choose just these references. If you buy in a sex shop, check the composition of the lubricant (for the reasons mentioned above) for risk-free and amazing realistic sex.
